I never thought I'd find a better all round 2 person tent than my old Hilleberg Nallo. But the Solar 2.2 is amazing. Each person has their own huge vestibule; definitely a better arrangement.

The PHD Minimus is rated down to -5 but I reckon it copes to nearer 0. If colder I just simply add some clothes. A great piece of kit. But if it looks too light then feel free to play safe. Kate used her Rab Quantum 400 which is very reliable. My Quantum 400 has kept me warm at nearer -10 than the -5 rating that it comes from. But it is 400 grams heavier :-)

The Torso Lite is an inflatable mat - but much smaller than the smallest Thermorests. Some people can't believe that these are useable. I use nothing else these days. I place spare clothes, stuff sacks - and even occasionally my pack - under my legs on cold nights.

I used the Peak Ignition last year. Light for its class and a reliable performer.
