Engadin Art Talks returns with a weekend program

engadin art talks (EAT) returns for its 12th edition with a spectacular program of a weekend full of conferences, walks, shows and music in zuoz, in the swiss valley of the engadin. To take place from January 28 to 30, 2022, the forum brings together a selection of great thinkers arts, architecture, design, science and literature. through their ideas, their visions and their projects, the speakers, including the architect david ajaye and scenographer are devlin, will address this year’s theme, ‘matter & memory’.

the speakers and the complete ‘matter & memory’ program

coming from the realm of art and beyond, the EAT 2022 speakers will present their thoughts on ‘matter and memory’. this year’s theme explores various forms of memory through contemporary perspectives, ranging from the relationship between body and mind, the sustainability and articulation of time, and different experiences of memory. the speakers of ‘matter & memory’ are – igshaan adams, david adjaye, david allemann, ann demeester, chris dercon, es devlin, souleymane bachir diagne, benjamin dillenburger, johannes gees, margret köll, laurent le bon, armin linke, kelian maissen, isabelle mansuy, camille morineau, andrew morlet, precious okoyomon, pamela rosenkranz, kenny schachter.

the 2022 program is organized by daniel baumann (director of kunsthalle zürich), bice curiger (director of the van gogh arles foundation), hans ulrich obrist (artistic director, serpentine galleries london) and philip ursprung (head of the architecture department at ETH zürich). for those who can’t make it to zuoz, the forum will also be available via live stream. prior registration is required for both modes of participation – register here.
