Rumor: Avatar: Last Airbender RPG Features Breath of the Wild Art Style, Launching November

More details have emerged regarding the upcoming Avatar The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance which was spotted recently via a new listing on Amazon Japan. Avatar-themed fan site Avatar News has acquired more information about the game via their source. Avatar The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance is coming to Nintendo Switch and other platforms on November 8. Avatar News says it has seen clips of the game in action and that its art style resembles that of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, although the gameplay is very different. The site doesn’t say what kind of game it is, but the story centers around the members of the Order of the White Lotus. Hopefully everything will be revealed soon.

“The framing story of the game is that after the anime series ended, the members of the Order of the White Lotus got together for a game of Pai Sho and started telling each other old war stories. They recount the events of the end of the Hundred Year War – the events of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, with Pakku covering Book One: Water, Bumi covering Book Two: Earth, and Iroh covering the Book Three: Fire. As a player, you play through these stories from the beginning to the end of ATLA. However, their memories aren’t foolproof, so you end up playing through alternate histories different from what happened on the show. It’s a bit like What If…? of Avatar. Some of them are more serious while others are more humorous.
