Spider-Verse Dodge Producers Tom Holland Question; Talk Art Style

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller recently spoke about the film’s different artistic styles and dodged a question about Tom Holland.

With Tom Holland Spider-Man: No Coming Home bringing all three Spider-Men together in live action, fans want to see them jump into the animated Spider-Verse with the upcoming sequel. During the press tour for Spider-Man: No Coming Home, Tom Holland and Zendaya have both expressed interest in join Across the Spider-Verse.

When Collider asked Phil Lord and Chris Miller whether or not they had told Tom Holland or Zendya about joining Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse, the two avoided the question, instead talking about getting random phone calls from people. However, Miller shared that the upcoming sequel will feature different animation styles for each universe, as shown in the first trailer:

“It’s, as Phil said, a very ambitious sequel, because we didn’t just want to do the same thing over again. And so the idea that we’d go to different dimensions really opened up an artistic opportunity to make that that each world has its own unique art style, and to be able to push the folks at ImageWorks to develop a way to make every dimension look like it was drawn by another artist’s hand. this stuff is breathtaking, and really, that’s why we keep doing it, because it’s so hard to get it right.
